We dare to be different because communities are different and no needs are the same. No one should be left without at least the opportunity of hope, help, or a positive change! Everyone goes through hardship at least once in a lifetime, we dare to be the ones that provides the much needed hope for those times.
We strongly promote higher education in our community, motivate individuals to achieve their educational goals, provide community resources to all. We stand with our clients but not for them.
We provide resources so that they may never again have to face hardship.
We provide healthy food for healthy living, create future entrepreneurs, provide food and clothing for the homeless, and change lives for the better.
strong we stand to lend a hand
MORE ABOUT US
This Organization was originally founded in the year of 2000 under the name under the name of IRAD
(Inter Racial Association Development). We were able to assist those with diverse needs through our resources.
We used our own income to purchase supplies when our resources did not come through. We were able to assist others with monetary funds and gifts. We utilized the same opportunity to help others spiritually by praying and sharing the gospel with them.
We identify with a lot of our clients due to the fact that sometimes, we also had to do without; however, we had a regular income through our employment which gave us the hope that some of our clients did not have.
When the economic crisis hit in the year of 2006/2007 our hearts were filled with pain and sorrow. To witness that even our next door neighbors were suffering due to either low income or no income really took a toll on us. We saw some of our neighbors become homeless with their children beside them; again, our hearts felt the pain. This caused us to become even more active in community service.
Our vision changed when we saw that the less educated were the most to suffer, so we decided to not only feed the body and spirit but also the mind.
Going international came about when we saw the disaster in Indonesia, Haiti, the Aids epidemic in Africa. Sometime, we often take what we have until we face our own disaster. We’re fully aware that we cannot change the world, however, we can change A life for the better, One Day At A Time in hopes that the ones we help may one day help someone else.
